I have a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Art from the University of Johannesburg, where I majored in painting and developed a strong interest in mixed media and collage. I have always been drawn to working with layers and combining different materials to tell a story. Alongside my art practice, I work digitally using Adobe Photoshop, Fresco, Premiere Pro, After Effects, InDesign, as well as Canva and Krita. I enjoy blending traditional techniques with digital tools and seeing how the two can inform each other. I also completed a PGCE, which strengthened how I communicate ideas and think about how people engage with creative work. I am always open to projects that challenge me and help me grow creatively.
I had an absolute pleasure to collaborate with author Agatha Clark as the illustrator for her children’s book, My Immigrant Mom. Over the last 8 months, we worked together to bring her vision to life. She wrote this beautiful story to help her children understand immigration and celebrate their heritage. The book is officially published and available for purchase on Amazon.
I'm open to opportunities and would love to connect.
